About Bergen Calling
Bergen Calling is a concert series that brings together some of the biggest Norwegian and international artists in the unique surroundings of Bergenhus Fortress, located in the very heart of Bergen. Every summer, the historic grounds surrounding the fortress are transformed into a spectacular concert venue featuring two outdoor greenfields: Koengen, with a capacity of up to 23,000 attendees, and Plenen, accommodating around 10,000. Here, large-scale concert experiences are seamlessly combined with the city’s rich history. Bergen Calling has hosted a wide range of high-profile concerts featuring both international superstars and beloved Norwegian artists.
